Now this article may offend some of you animal lovers and I’m very sorry about that but I truly don’t believe that the way the way this has been done is not thought of as bad taste in Thailand. I don’t really see animal cruelty so much here in Thailand and I don’t think any my friends have either it’s not like Vietnam where dogs are eaten often, sometimes dogs are eaten in Thailand bought only in a certain regions. So as I say I don’t think that too much animal cruelty as far as I can tell.

The first animal that saw which had been painted was this small dog in the centre of Hua Hin, he just looks like some kind of mongrel dog. I think he’s been spray-painted he as got purple on his back and tail and red down is four legs. I’m not really sure why he’s been done like this maybe to just brighten up the place up. You can see in the background the tuk tuk driver I wonder if this guy had anything to do with spray-painted the dog, but to me I think the dog still has a bit of a smile on its face doesn’t seem too bothered about the multicoloured effect he is rocking.

I saw this dog when I was waiting for my brother to appear from a local bar, I asked him if he seen it whilst her was in the bar and he said they had whilst he was enjoying his beer. So this was my first painted animal I saw in Hua Hin and he’s a beauty.

Next one on my list was a mostly white cat, that I spotted in a DVD shop. Again this animal does not seem to be too bothered he is happy to just sit there and relax. He is not worrying about the lipstick and eyeligner that he is wearing. There were lots of girls working in the shop so I think this is the reason why he’s been given a facial rather than full body paints in the case of the dog. I think the Has more style than the dog which of course is alway the case when it comes to cats and dogs.

I don’t advocate this kind of feline or canine artistry, but it does always raise a smile whenever I see a painted animal i’m afraid to say. I shall try and put any new pictures I see of colourful creatures on this website please check back here you found this article interesting.
