I headed over to a local friends restaurant for some dinner the other night. She is called Yum and her place is called Im Aroi which means Delicious and Full in Thai – actually, its the other way round! Full and Delicious, but anyway, you get the idea.

You can watch the full video here if you like, and please leave a comment, subscribe, like and favourite as they say!

I like this dish, but it can often taste different from one place to another. I remember when I ordered it in Koh Samui it can out in a kind of watery sauce, almost like a soup. Over here in Hua Hin, it kind of is like the way I normally eat it, pretty sticky kind of consistency

The Dish before she put on the Cashews!!!! (she forgot – must have been the camera putting her off)

So after watching this video do you still think that Thai Food is healthy? Myself I dont, all the oil, sugar and probably MSG – and again, its fried. I think if you want a healthy Thai dish, you have to watch over them and say NO NO NO when she grabs the MSG or the sugar OR the oil on more time?! But I love this women who makes the food here, I am getting a bit long in the tooth for Thai food, but she is worth heading along for just for a laugh and a joke, like a lot of Thai people I guess.

If you are in the area, go check her out, she is in Hua Hun on a road near the traffic lights off the ‘klong road’ – only one review on trip advisor and its from me! I am not affiliated with this place at all, she is just a good friend and the food is good and cheap (although if you want to be healthy, make sure you stand over her – a bit unfair, but at least you can make sure its what you want – but I doubt its going to be so delicious if you do this).
